Hailing from Austin TX, not much is known about mysterious rapper and spoken word artist the fifth estate. Musically following in the footsteps of Kendrick Lamar or a solo Gangstarr, his poetic lyricism sits on the intelligent and rhythmic end of the rap spectrum, rather than being aggressive in delivery. ‘A Tribe Called’, taken from his forthcoming Clandestine EP, makes for laid-back listening as jazz instrumentation lays the foundation for his harmonic flow.
